ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Abstract Submission Rules
- Abstract submissions must be made by sending the abstract to info@cetad.org.tr by October 1, 2026.
- Abstracts accepted by the Scientific Committee, with at least one author completing congress registration, will be published in the congress abstract book.
- For research abstracts, the name of the institution that granted ethics committee approval, together with the approval date and decision number, must be stated in the abstract.
- Abstracts must be no more than 300 words.
- Abbreviations must not be used in the abstract title.
- Authors' full names, institutional affiliation, and city must be stated; academic titles (Prof., Assoc. Prof., Dr., etc.) and long address information must not be included.
- No abbreviations should be used other than internationally recognized ones.
- Abstracts must be submitted in Turkish.
- Acceptance or rejection decisions will be communicated to authors by e-mail.
- Abstracts will be published in the abstract book exactly as submitted. Spelling, grammar, and content control are entirely the authors' responsibility. No corrections can be made after publication.
- Each oral presentation is allotted 8 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for discussion.
Abstracts of research papers must be prepared under the following headings:
- Aim
- Method
- Findings
- Conclusion
Abstracts of case reports must be prepared under the following headings:
- Aim
- Case
- Discussion
Poster Preparation Guidelines
Abstracts accepted for poster presentation must be prepared in accordance with the following rules.
- Poster size: Posters must be prepared in 70 × 100 cm dimensions and in portrait format.
- Font size: Poster text must be legible from a distance of 1–2 meters.
- Title: Must be written in capital letters and bold.
- Author names: First name with initial capitalized, surname in capital letters, both in bold. Academic titles should not be used with names.
- The name of the presenting author must be underlined.
- Institutional affiliations should be linked to author names using superscript symbols and placed below the names.
- A light background with dark text is recommended to improve readability.
- Graphics, tables, and images must be of sufficient resolution.
- Poster presenters are expected to be present at their posters during the poster evaluation time specified in the program.
Poster Template: Posters may be prepared using the poster template provided by the congress.
Oral Presentation Template: Oral presentations may be prepared using the PowerPoint template provided by the congress.
