ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Key Dates for Abstract Submission
- Deadline for submission of oral and poster abstracts: October 1, 2026.
- Announcement of the first reviewer evaluation results for oral and poster abstracts: October 22, 2026.
- Abstracts are decided in one of three ways: accepted, rejected, or revision requested. The deadline for revising abstracts in line with the reviewers' suggestions is October 26, 2026.
- The final acceptance or rejection decision for abstracts will be made on October 28, 2026 and will be communicated to you by e-mail.
Submitting Abstracts
Oral and poster abstracts must be sent to info@cetad.org.tr.
- Abstracts will be accepted only as poster or oral presentations.
- Only research studies will be accepted for oral presentation; case reports and review articles will not be accepted as oral presentations.
- Research studies and case reports will be accepted for poster presentation; review articles will not be accepted as poster presentations.
- Research studies and case reports must comply with research and publication ethics (ethics committee approval / patient consent).
- Abstracts must be written in Turkish and must not exceed 300 words.
- Abstracts of research papers must consist of the sections Aim, Method, Findings, Conclusion. The Findings section must include statistical analyses (numerical data such as mean, median, standard deviation; units such as mg, dl; and statistical values such as p, Beta, r).
- Case reports must consist of the sections Aim, Case and Discussion.
- Tables and figures must not be included in the text.
- A references section must not be included at the end of the text.
- Researchers submitting an abstract are advised to follow the rules stated above in order to reduce rejections and revision requests.
Poster Preparation Guidelines
Abstracts accepted for poster presentation must be prepared in accordance with the following rules.
- Poster size: Posters must be prepared in 70 × 100 cm dimensions and in portrait format.
- Font size: Poster text must be legible from a distance of 1–2 meters.
- Title: Must be written in capital letters and bold.
- Author names: First name with initial capitalized, surname in capital letters, both in bold. Academic titles should not be used with names.
- It is recommended that the presentation be supported by at least 3 references (using the Vancouver referencing style).
- The name of the presenting author must be underlined.
- Institutional affiliations should be linked to author names using superscript symbols and placed below the names.
- A light background with dark text is recommended to improve readability.
- Graphics, tables, and images must be of sufficient resolution.
- Poster presenters are expected to be present at their posters during the poster evaluation time specified in the program.
Presenting Abstracts at the Congress
For Participants Giving Oral Presentations: The total presentation time for oral presentations is 15 minutes; you are expected to allocate the last 2-3 minutes to discussion and to take care not to exceed the stated time.
For Participants Giving Poster Presentations: The total presentation time for poster presentations is 10 minutes; you are expected to allocate the last 2-3 minutes to discussion and to take care not to exceed the stated time.
- Figures and tables may be used in congress presentations.
- Detailed information about the date and time of your presentation will be sent to you with your acceptance letter.
- You may present your abstracts at the congress using the PPT template indicated on this page.
Poster Template: Posters may be prepared using the poster template provided by the congress.
Oral Presentation Template: Oral presentations may be prepared using the PowerPoint template provided by the congress.
